Encouraged by Specialist Allergy Medical
Practitioners Lola has developed these
recipes to cater for those who are allergic
or intolerant to eggs,dairy,nuts,corn,soy,
yeast spelt,wheat and gluten.
This book provides a variety of cakes, pastry, sauces,
and bread as well as main course
dishes and desserts that are free of onions,
garlic and other sulphites, guar and
xantham gum.
There are three flour blends to select from
giving users the option of baking without grains
or potato if necessary. Included is a low sugar
collection including a sugar free, dairy free
cream filling. Egg-free bread and pastry is also
available in this collection and all recipes
are identified by icons.

BREAD, BUNS AND BREAKFASTS

I have recently received a copy of your
wonderful "Bread, Buns and Breakfasts"
book as a gift. Most of the gluten free books
I have are by an American author,
Bette Hagman- "The Gluten Free Gourmet."
For the last seven years I have been
using her recipes and have struggled along,
but at least the ones that did turn out
were edible.
I am absolutely delighted to have an
Australian book with such great variations
and your flour blend is a joy to work with.
It is nice not to have to use guar and
xanthan gum that caused painful flatulance
and bloating. Thank you so much for the
time and effort that you have given to the
coeliac's with this wonderful publication.

WHEAT FREE WORLD
Hi Lola,
I made the pastry today and it worked. So
happy with
your recipes. I have tried 1
other persons gluten
free pastry recipe and it was
a disaster. Hard and horrible. It didn't roll out well at
all. it was like rock in places
to eat. Not a good
experience.
Today I made a curried veg pie. The
whole family
like it. Pastry and all. After my
last attempt they were a bit nervous and
just quietly so was I
The more I try your
recipes, the more excited I get.
